WHO WE ARE

Saetas is a ministry born from the heart of God to bring the good news of salvation. It is formed by people from different congregations and with a common purpose: to bring the Gospel of God into all areas.
Saetas has developed into a tool in God’s Hands to help church gain, grow and send disciples to make an impact in their own region and setting.
Mentoring, coaching and exposure to the missions field are essential to our work. We are a ministry of evangelism and discipleship which exists and strives to work together with local churches.

Join us on a discovery journey in your region, uncovering what God is already doing among the people and His vision for them. Invite your church!

Our discovery process includes conducting a case study for your city, identifying challenges, and exploring opportunities for connection. We provide an introduction to biblical discipleship and evangelism, detailing how to build discipleship groups and take important steps in this process.

Together, we share and dream big, allowing God to lead us into His strategies.

Training and in-depth Bible studies
The second step is a set of training weekends held after the „Discover“ sessions. It’s designed for churches and participants eager to impact those around them.

During the weekend, we study evangelism strategies of Jesus and Paul, outline goals and components of discipleship meetings, discuss strategies for churches to reach their cities, build new groups, and equip young followers of Jesus. Additionally, we provide tools to identify key individuals that will potentially take ownership of the discipleship work.

Join us for a firsthand experience!
In the third step, we engage in practical street outreaches and mission trips, experiencing God’s power and dynamics while spreading the Gospel and forming new groups.
 
We team up with other evangelism groups to experience God’s mission together, focusing on starting new groups either locally or abroad. Following Jesus‘ and Paul’s strategy, we ignite hearts in new regions, kickstarting a discipleship movement.
 
Mission durations are flexible, tailored to local needs and team member availability. Each trip is an unforgettable experience!

The Beginning of the Ministry

In 2007, Julio Mazara had a dream where God revealed a vision of restoring the Church and raising a new generation to renew His church. He was given a word: „I will make you be like Saetas,“ symbolizing God’s illumination in the darkest corners of the world. This inspired the ministry’s name, Saetas, meaning „Arrows“ in Spanish.

Julio and his wife Elena serve churches across Europe and pioneer missions in areas without churches. They offer discipleship and mentoring to new believers and groups.
